Syabonga Mthandeni Mbambo (33) was born at eShowe and grew up at eMpangeni.He attended the Mbongeni Ngema Academy of Perfoming Arts in 2005 in Durban.He went on to star in Mbongeni Ngema’s theatrical Bhambatha where he played the character ‘Prexley Ka Seme’.In 2008 he starred in Mbongeni Ngema’s Sarafina which toured Nigeria as a dancer.He went on to star in Shosholoza the Musical playing the character of ‘Bafoza’which toured (Playhouse/Grahamstown Festival/State Theater) in 2009.He then featured in Mbongeni Ngema’s Stimela SaseZola as a dancer in 2011.He then starred in a theatrical tittled ‘Long Way To Go’ which toured (State Theater /Playhouse Dbn) in 2013.He then joined the 4men cast of Soweto Entsha which toured France in 2011,it was during this year that he joined 1KZNTV as a presenter for a sport show ‘Wozo dlala’.He then featured in a movie tittled ‘Bad Throw’ by Setho Films where he played the gambler character in 2013.He featured in ‘Task Force’ a drama by Stepping Stones Pictures where he played barman in 2013.The same year he featured in Isibaya by Bomb Productions where he played the potter in 2013.He also had a cameo role in Uzalo by Stained Glass playing the character of the MC…He then went back to theater and and featured in a musical directed by Bheki Mkhwane tittled ‘Have we been heard?’in 2014.He starred in Kwasukasukela a theater animation.He then played the charater of Chief Kunene in Skorokoro a film produced by Phoenix Films directed by Darrel Rodt in 2015.He featured in a Wimpy commercial advert in 2015.He then directed and played the lead character in Death of The Emperor Shaka The Musical.He then starred in Rockville 4 by Ferguson Films as Boy 2.He then directed  and played the lead character in a theatrical tittled ‘The Devil’s Autograph’ in 2017.He then wrote and directed his 1st ever theater one man show tittled ‘The Journey’ in 2018. In 2017 he joined 1KZNTV as a guest presenter for a show tittled ‘The next Billionare’ produced by Umlando Film Productions.
