A fresh, new wave of talent has hit our television screens! Her captivating performances have kept us glued to our TVs. Introducing the amazing Yolo Noruwana! She began her TV career through making several appearances on Mzansi Bioskops, portraying various characters which have left South Africans completely mesmerized by her performances. Yolo’s major breakthrough happened when she portrayed the role of Tiny, an undercover policewoman who eventually uncovered Nina Zamndela’s devious dealings on the SABC3 soapy, Isidingo. This magnetic thespian completed her BA (Honours) in Live Performance at South Africa’s leading film school, AFDA, in 2008. Her Honours film was even showcased on Mnet, making  that her screen debut on a national level. Yolo Noruwana has gone on to appear on some of the country’s biggest shows, such as; Judge Khambule, Legacy, Ubettina Wethu, as well as Abomama Bomthandazo. She became a hit with the people of Mzansi when she played the character of Nobarbwire on Mzansi Magic’s popular telenovela, DiepCity, followed by the role of Mrs Sibisi on SABC1’s much loved soapy, Generations: The Legacy. Miss Noruwana also happens to be quite the singer as well co-writer on some of the most phenomenal stories. She worked on a Showmax film, Meet Melusi and the big screen as well! She starred in the movie, Covet, and the two- time international awards winning film, Margarine, at the IDYLL WILD CINEMA FESTIVAL! This amazing actress has recently worked on the Etv drama series, uMbali, proving that she is definitely a force to be reckoned with!
